The Role

We are currently seeking a full time Fleet Coordinator to join our team based in our vibrant Auckland office!

Reporting to the Group Fleet Manager, the Fleet Coordinator will assist the Group Fleet Manager in providing a centralised, coordinated and efficient management of Fleet Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the daily operational and administrative tasks associated with fleet management
• Monitoring and reviewing the operation of fleet supply arrangements identifying areas of concern and opportunity
• Monitoring performance and delivery of the fleet by the Fleet Management Company
• Liaise with Business Units and Cost Centre owners with regards to quoting requirements for HCV, LCV and Open Plan assets.
• Recommending procurement and purchasing arrangements in conjunction with the Group Fleet Manager
• Ensuring that asset condition and risks are understood and appropriately addressed
• Consulting with key stakeholders, identifies opportunities to implement, enhance or replace systems or processes to improve profitability and ensure efficiency of operation
• Communicating a change agenda and ensures employees contribute to, understand and are engaged in the organisational change process
• Assessing performance of the fleet assets, identifying areas of underperformance or to take advantage of emerging opportunities , ensuring the business is up to date
• Ensuring all compliance based requirements are completed in a timely and satisfactory manner

Skills and Experience

• Fleet management experience in a service delivery industry
• Experience and demonstrated capability in managing and leading an outcome
• Tertiary qualification in business or a related discipline (highly desirable)
• Focused on safety
• Clear and effective communication with the ability to build relationships within the business, stakeholders and vendors
