About the Role

You will supervise the fleet while on the road and in the Breezeway. You will have the opportunity to plan and co-ordinate the pickup and delivery of consignments in order to ensure the effective and efficient utilisation of the PUD fleet on a minimum cost basis.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor pickup and deliveries ensuring customers and relevant personnel are promptly advised of inability to achieve planned requirements.
• Ensure only drivers who can meet the pick-up and delivery requirements within the legislated driving hours are allocated loads
• Monitor PUD dashboard for pre-starts are carried out. And meal and fatigue breaks are taken in line with our Code of Practice, Commercial Drivers
• Be aware of, comply with and enforce company and legislative safe working practices policies and procedures.
• Ensure clear and effective 2-way radio communication is maintained with the pickup and delivery fleet at all times.
