What will you do?

Reporting to the site based Project Manager, you will lead a site-based construction team and take responsibility for health & safety, project planning, execution and quality assurance of the works onsite. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the project operates with safety as a key focus at all times
• Motivating and inspiring the sites teams to deliver work to a high standard
• Mentoring, coaching, teaching and providing feedback to team members
• Creating and monitoring site programmes
• Working with the design and sales teams to accommodate design changes and resident requests.

Who are you?

You will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to influence, persuade and guide people and a clear passion for safety. You are reliable, self-motivated and enjoy managing a busy workload. In addition, you will have:

• Extensive experience on large-scale construction (multi-story) projects 
• Be trade qualified working your way up from the tools
• Proven experience delivering $100m+ commercial or multi-story residential construction projects in a main contractor environment
• Be a team player with a 'can-do' attitude and have the leadership skills required to create a great working culture
• You understand the importance of safety,and are computer savvy.
• You communicate effectively and can influence, persuade and guide others
• You are flexible and adaptable and adjust your style to work effectively with different people
• Experience leading large teams, including contractors
