About the role
We are recruiting staff for our Te Waipounamu region, based in our Nelson and Dunedin centres.
Please note, it is rostered work shift and you will be working on a shift\ rotation..
Nelson Centre, shift work is Monday to Friday, a mixture of early and late shifts. Early shifts is 0630hrs – 1430hrs, Late shifts 1400hrs – 2200hrs.
Dunedin Centre, shift work is six days on, three days off, consisting of three early shifts 0600-1400hrs and three late shifts 1400hrs-2200hrs.
As part of the File Management and Transcription (FM&T) workgroup, you will be part of a team that delivers operational and administrational support to front line staff, victims, and external agencies at District and Regional level. Once trained, you will be expected to work and access several Police IT systems to process information of varied priority and level of risk.
A File Management Support Officer will be able to work confidently in a fast-paced team environment, be committed to contributing to and being part of a high performing team and have a clear understanding of “Our Business†and our “Police Valuesâ€.
To support District/Regional outcomes, a File Management Support Officer will provide an end to end Case Management service of Police files in entry and modification to meet organisational demand.
