Field Supervisor

The field Supervisor will bring with them strong knowledge and experience within the 3 Waters networks.

You will be the go-to person for delivery of services the client supplies.

My client is looking for that Special person who not only knows what they are doing but also doesn’t mind getting in and doing it too when required. If

Interceptors, Flush Tanks and Syphons, Wastewater, Stormwater if these are not foreign to you keep reading.

• Competent knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, equipment, and procedures utilised to conduct video inspections of underground infrastructure
• Working knowledge of day-to-day planning of jobs and work instructions to meet contract specification
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety management systems including Hazard Analysis and Safety Regulations and working in confined spaces
• Ability to plan, schedule and assign the work of subordinates, including training and demonstrating applicable methods and procedures.
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• High level of machine and asset care will be required in this role due to the nature of the work
• The flexibility to work after hours as and when required

Key Requirements:

• The ability to be away from home as travel will be a requirement of these roles.
• Physically fit with an excellent work ethic
• Proactive towards health and safety
• Honest and reliable
• STMS traffic control certificate (preferable)
• Confined space entry certificate (preferable)
• Working at Heights certificate (preferable)
• Reliable and punctual with clear communication skills
• Be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
• Motivated to learn new skills
• Team focused with the ability to work alone when required
• Legally entitled to work in NZ
