Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in an Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and/or Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) sales role

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in Field Sales in the technology industry, promoting Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and/or Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS)
  • Experience managing and leading a team
  • Experience promoting cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies
  • Understanding of data and networking technologies, the global cloud computing market, and drivers for growth in the goal industry segment
  • Understanding of how various cloud technologies work in combination to drive technology adoption within the existing, large account base

In this role, you will manage a team of Enterprise Account Executives focused on the UK and Ireland Grocery and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) market segment. You'll be responsible for the market success of products such as Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, and for the adoption of our business-relevant and cloud solutions.

You’ll leverage knowledge of both the industry and our offerings, and will actively advocate products and solutions within the UK and Ireland market, refining the overall product plan, positioning, and the go-to-market strategy. Additionally, you will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams and Product Strategists to define strategic goals that impact business metrics, including business growth attainment, shorter business cycles, business sizes, logo acquisition and more.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement go-to-market propositions in a given business sector, collaborating with Marketing, Demand Management, Solutions, Product, and Engineering teams to produce a focused proposition.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term, strategic direction, and act as an advisor to the customer.
  • Work with wider Account teams to develop and drive pipeline, and provide guidance. Work with Google Cloud Platform partners to develop campaigns. Build a pipeline of customers within industries.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering and Marketing resource teams to provide input on current collateral materials and ideas on how to improve them to maximize Google Cloud Platform in a given team. Work towards strategic business goals.
  • Create and maintain strategic partner relationships with market specific and ecosystem partners.
