Join our Finance team as a Fees And Charges Manager
Our Finance team play an important role in helping us to achieve our vision by supporting colleagues across the organisation to achieve the best value for money, pay for goods and services and understand complex financial information. Our finance specialists work across a number of teams including Corporate Finance, Financial Management and Procurement. The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Fees And Charges Manager in London. Your responsibilities will include:
- To work with colleagues across the organisation to produce transparent and accurate income plans for the overall Directorate as well as local scheme plans.
- To ensure that income plans are accurately prepared and delivered to strict deadlines
- To be the in-house expert on good practice and legislation related to service charges setting, care & support fees and lease charges for the Care & Support sector
- Support new business bids and model and price care and support contracts and individual fees
- Lead the annual price review for care and support contracts and individual feesï‚·Support the annual budget process including preparing scheme level and business area budgets
- Maintain a system of up-to-date fee information to support the business.
- To work closely with operational teams to optimise enhanced housing benefit claims.
- To ensure accuracy and completeness of information across IT systems and carry out audits on data reports to provide assurance
- To act as a point of specialist knowledge on care and support directly-managed and agency-manged stock. Most desirable; knowledge, skills and experience
- Degree level education required
- Very good IT skills generally and specifically in relation to Excel
What you will need to succeed
We are looking for someone who believes in working together as part of a team, who shares our values and who is positive and friendly. The successful candidate will:
- Knowledge of property management and experience of calculating and issuing property charges, including service
- Knowledge of care and support pricing models and fee setting
- Extensive knowledge of leases, tenancies, legislation and case law in relation to service charges and rents.
- Experience of producing statistical reports, KPIs and ensuring delivery with performance targets.
