About the role and who we are looking for:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Permanent Full Time Catering Assistant extraordinaire to work at our Counties Manukau Police Station. The hours for this role are 40hrs per week Monday to Friday.

You will be responsible for:

In this position you will be responsible for working front of house, setting up cabinets, topping up vending coffee machine, making outstanding coffee for all customers, assisting with the basic preparation and presentation of food, preparing sandwiches, providing excellent customer service, cash handling and assisting in general kitchen and cleaning duties.

Our Perfect Candidate?

• Will have a minimum of 1 years' experience in a catering/customer service role
• Will be hard working and passionate about the job.
• Will enjoy being part of a great team.
• Ideally will already have barista experience, hold a food safety certificate (Unit Standard 167) or be happy to train for one.
• Will have superior customer service skills but most importantly will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
