We are seeking an enthusiastic general farm hand to join our team on a progressive sheep, beef and cropping farms both 10 minutes from Marton.

Maungaraupi (270 Ha) and Mareeba (420 Ha) are family runs farms working in together from breeding component of 3000 Romney ewes to 150 Angus cows to finishing all there progeny, along with growing a mix of barley and maize.

 Job includes-

Tractor driving

fencing

Repairs and maintenance

Stock work- no dogs required

Ideal applicants will have some experience within sheep and beef farms and most importantly.

•A willingness to embrace technology

•Positive and high performing work ethic

•Good communication skills 

•Ability to work within the team and unsupervised

•a willingness to learn and gain experience

•Current NZ Driver’s License

•A New Zealand residency or a current New Zealand working visa

•excellent stockmanship
