About the Role

• This role is for a Full time position
• The working hours is 40 hours, Monday to Friday

Main Duties

• Weekly inspections of buildings
• Organising maintenance and ensuring that it is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
• Weekly cleaning inspections of buildings
• Monthly compliance inspections visual inspections of signage, fire hose reels, safety features etc.
• Managing BWOF’s across portfolio
• Coordinating and administering third party service contracts and building effective relationships.
• Maintaining up to date list of contractors contact details
• Managing planned preventative works schedule
• Managing small-medium projects including getting and accepting quotes, liaising with contractors, and Vodafone’s National Facilities Manager
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are adhered to
• Liaise with Vodafone’s National Security Manager to ensure the building is kept secure
• Manage carpark to ensure only authorised vehicles are parking on site
• Ensure your site is compliant with Converga and Client Health & Safety Standards
• A good understanding of facilities, procurement, and administration
• Creating a welcoming, professional, and friendly atmosphere by providing best in class customer service
• Covering reception as and where required
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Any other request that may be asked by our Client’s Management Team

Key Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in building maintenance, property management or project management
• Understanding of risk assessment and risk management
• Good knowledge of building systems such as BMS
• Good understanding of environmental, Health & Safety
• Good understanding of building compliance
• Ability to cope calmly under pressure, pleasant and pro-active team player
• Strong Administration skills, with focus on job ownership
• High standard of personal presentation
• Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent attention to detail and Security awareness
• Fit and strong
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive problem solver
• Love helping people with an exceptional level of customer service
• Must have a full NZ Drivers Licence
