Metal Concepts is looking for expressions of interest for the position of Sheet Metal Fabricator with 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Being the heart of the operation, in this role you will use a mix of typical sheet metal and metal working equipment along with some of the latest technology including robotic laser welding and CNC machines to produce high quality architectural pieces and product for site installation. Working from our new factory you will safely operate the tools and machinery required to deliver a variety of product for our projects in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

• Producing architectural metal work products based on the required quantity and specifications.
• Ensuring that the items are free of any defects before distribution.
• Fabricate bespoke mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium structures
• Reporting defected machines and equipment.

Skills and experience required:

• Experience using typical sheet metal and metal working equipment to manufacture high quality projects in mild steel/stainless steel/aluminium.
• Fabricated various components using multiple weld processes (MIG and TIG).
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Ability to work independently once trained
• Good command of English, listening and verbal communication skills
