Tū Māia Youth Forensic Service is a regionally focussed multi-disciplinary team whose primary role is the assessment of children and adolescents involved in the Youth Justice system, preparing formal reports on their mental health needs for the Courts and other agencies, and providing short term therapies and consultation to a small number of young people. We also provide clinical services to young people in secure residential care, and Court liaison services
