Job Description

About the Role:

The position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence whilst remaining alert and focused. You will be responsible for providing passenger and baggage screening services at the airport. You will be part of an enthusiastic, committed and customer focused team which builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Your primary areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:

• Passenger & checked baggage screening
• Liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
• Recording of incident reports as required
• Responding professionally, courteously and promptly to all stakeholder enquiries

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements a successful candidate will possess are:

• Certificate II in Security Operations and or a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection

Free Aviation Training Qualification provided for suitable candidates - Certificate II Transport Security Protection

• Must have full working rights in Australia
• Currently hold or willing to obtain a Security Licence
• Ability to successfully pass a Drug & Alcohol screening
• Flexibility in working hours
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
