Minimum qualifications:

Experience creating search strategies, mapping talent markets, obtaining industry insights, and leading processes and data quality.

Experience in research at an executive search or management consulting firm, or recruiting experience within a corporate environment.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in executive tech recruiting.

Ability to learn quickly to understand new markets and to run a thorough, excellent search process, including candidate research, outreach, engagement, evaluation, and presentation.

Ability to lean into partnerships across recruiting and HR.

Professional and concise, verbal and written communication skills.

High level of personal accountability, integrity, and authenticity.

About the job

The Tech EMEA Executive Recruiting team helps find, engage, and hire the next generation of leadership talent for all Tech Product Areas at Google. Our team’s work is focused solely on the critical leadership roles that will be responsible for the future of Google. As an Executive Researcher focused on senior technical and product leaders in EMEA, you'll be working hand-in-hand with VPs and Directors, recruiters, and HR partners as you map the market and engage with luminaries in the industry. You'll have an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to engagement and DEI strategy. Our Executive Researchers are talent advisors to Google leaders of these functions, and are relied on for advice about the outside talent market, as well as how it compares to the talented and accomplished Googlers we already have in the organization. You'll have a chance to present a strong perspective on the external talent landscape and deep insights into Google’s business priorities, drive our Cloud Executive Recruiting search strategies, and the engagement of truly transformative talent.

Responsibilities

Own and drive research and sourcing efforts for executive searches across various technical and product functions.

Partner with Practice Leads, Executive recruiters, HR, DEI, and event teams to directly advise executives on search strategies, candidate profiles, candidate pipeline, and industry trends and insights.

Provide direct engagement with VPs and Directors as they build leadership hiring strategy, and direct ownership of execution delivery.

Build proactive relationships with passive candidates to engage them over the longer term, leveraging past mapping work and shining a light on new talent emerging in the industry.

Act as an owner and innovate to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our systems and processes.
