An opportunity for a Digital Marketing Manager working in the Marketing team has become available within the National Buying department of ALDI Stores, based in Minchinbury. This role is a full-time permanent position.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing with a proven history of managing and driving campaigns, a strong understanding of digital media and a strong appreciation for creative ideas. They will have a passion for people management with a natural ability to create an enthusiastic team environment to meet digital marketing objectives.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage ALDI’s digital marketing channels and drive new initiatives
Manage, monitor, develop and train direct reports to achieve agreed marketing objectives
Oversee ALDI’s website content management and digital campaigns
Manage always on programs e.g., SEO, Website, EDM’s etc
Ongoing management of digital business listings i.e., google my business
Build and maintain our customer database. Enriching campaigns & optimising content through digital segments
Manage social channels and marketing content
Act as a central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders - creative, media, digital production agencies, ALDI IT domestically and internationally, buying depart - in relation to digital marketing activities
Manage and prepare all reporting and proposals for presentations
Check all agency invoices and approve those which fall within their agreed limit

Selection Criteria:
Digital marketing professional with a minimum of 7+ years agency or client-side experience with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in People Leadership and Development
Passion and demonstrated management of owned digital channels i.e., web, app, email & social
Experience with executing paid digital campaigns that deliver results
Ability to decipher digital analytics, set KPI’s & make necessary optimisations
Proven experience in:
Web content management (technical CMS experience preferred)
Experience with content optimisation & personalisation
Preferred experience with adobe suite (AEM, target, campaign, analytics, audience manager, etc)
Customer data collection & management (1st & 3rd party data). Preferred experience with Tealium or similar tools
Search engine optimisation and online business listings management
Strong understanding of established & emerging ad platforms. i.e. Google, Facebook, tik-tok, etc.
Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office suite
Ability to take initiative and problem solve
This role reports to the Director - Marketing
