Are you someone with a background in event project management and have a natural ability to drive the sales funnel? A not-for-profit client of Robert Half's is looking for an Event Manager with community engagement experience. This is a 14-Month maternity leave contract and includes full-benefits and is based in Vancouver, mostly on-site. This contract will allow the successful applicant to really put their mark on impactful events around BC.

What you'll do:

• Project manage the budget, workflow and deadlines for large scale events attended mostly virtually across the province while also leading team members for in person events on event days
• Retain existing relationships and build new ones with external partners and brands involved in the organizations events
• Support marketing through effective communication, as directed, by email, contest and social media

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role
• Comfortable sourcing then onboarding new fundraising partners
• Experience in the fitness or not-for-profit sector considered an asset
