Job summary
Amazon is looking for a Talent Management professional to join the Talent Management team supporting AMZL (Amazon Logistics) Europe to develop insights that inform our European talent strategy and innovate new mechanisms to meet the highest strategic areas of need within the global Operations organization. This position will partner with senior business leaders, PXT (HR) leaders and OTD (Ops Talent and Development) leaders around the globe to understand business and talent priorities, dive deep into organizational data to uncover macro talent trends, and partner with the team’s talent process owners to test hypotheses using data, develop and present new initiatives via written documents, and innovate new and implement existing talent processes such as talent reviews, succession planning, and organization design to enable the talent needed to drive our business strategy. This leader will also evaluate and deliver processes which drive a diverse and equitable culture. Given the size and span of the organization, effective change management methodologies will be critical in rolling out new or updated processes and programs.

In this high visibility role, we are looking for a professional who has the ability and initiative to diagnose issues and influence solutions/outcomes. The ideal candidate will also be able to work across geographies to be able to bring best practices from other areas of the organization and look to build global cohesion. You must be self-driven and have the capability and confidence to interface effectively with senior executive leaders and HR partners of the organization. You will need strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, influence skills, strategic thinking and planning/project management skills, as well as the ability to dive deep (both pulling and analyzing data), get in the details and thrive in a fast paced, rigorous environment.

Up to 25% travel may be needed for this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Extensive experience leading strategic talent initiatives, coaching and influencing senior leaders, designing mechanisms and inspecting performance at scale
· Excellent project management and planning skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and projects
· Strong business acumen, including strong problem solving and analytical skills and self-initiative. Ability to diagnose problems, and identify and drive appropriate solutions
· Proven capability manipulating and analyzing data sets to identify trends and root causes
· Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Master’s degree in related discipline
· Experience developing and implementing inclusion, equity, and diversity programs.
· Demonstrated achievements in coaching, influencing and problem-solving.
· Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
