This organisation is a part of a truly renowned brand in New Zealand and over the world with a rich history. The purpose of this project is an ERP migration (COINS to JDE 9.1) for Utilities and Facilities business units.

Your new role

As the Data Migration Manager will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all data migration activities in the project to ensure an effective, efficient and joined-up approach required for a successful implementation.

• Creation of a Data Migration Strategy and Plan, covering all activity and tasks required to populate the new solution with all current and historical data necessary for the correct operation of the solution.
• Monitor and report progress of the data migration plan
• Co-ordinate activity of Project and Business team members, internal and external providers contributing to the data migration activity.
• Work with the Project Manager to co-ordinate and manage all data migration activities and tasks.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive experience implementing enterprise-scale data migrations, including :
• Experience of running data migration teams Working with users in an information analysis role
• Extensive use of SQL/Oracle and RDBMS systems
• Working knowledge of data migration and data quality tools
• Extensive experience with data architectures and data warehouse implementations
• Strong knowledge of logical and physical data modelling concepts
• Demonstrated ability with ETL tools
