You will be able to be part of the Los Cuartos Ecological Center Volunteer Program, an institution with 30 years in the field of environmental education, in which you will be able to exchange experiences with different volunteers, both national and foreign, as well as a pleasant work team. . The stay to be covered is an average of 3 months, according to your availability and the needs of our Institution, where we offer you accommodation and food throughout your stay.

Some of the activities in which you can participate are:

In the educational area: 

• Participation with groups of boys, girls and young people in environmental education, education for peace and human rights programs based on the Earth Charter and the Sustainable Development Goals.

• Design, elaboration and preparation of didactic material.

• Design and delivery of internal and/or external courses on environmental education, education for peace and human rights for girls, boys, youth and/or adults.

• Assistants in the different projects of environmental education, education for peace and human rights that are carried out in the Foundation.

As logistical support: 

• Maintenance of the biointensive orchard and dome-greenhouse areas. 

• Maintenance of the composting area. 

• Maintenance, order and cleaning of the warehouse of teaching materials. 

• Preparation of inventories of materials and list of requirements. 

• Maintenance of the solid waste center.

Others: 

• Fundraising. 

• Preparation of presentations, specific projects and translations. 

• Generation of projects on their own initiative, and based on their experience, skills and talents, whose purpose is to improve the quality of the educational services we offer, as well as the facilities and equipment we have.

The activities are defined according to your profile, your interests and the needs of our association during your participation, as well as your current health conditions.

The activities are from Monday to Friday, so the weekends are free either to rest, get to know our beautiful state or go sightseeing throughout the country.
