Reporting to the Environmental Manager and with a strong project focus, this graduate role will support the Environmental Team in providing environmental and energy management for Alliance Group by assisting to develop a culture of continual improvement and assisting in implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System and Environmental Management Strategy. Alliance Group has recently made significant capital commitments and large decarbonisation and environmental projects are underway at four of our sites with plenty more to come. This role will help identify and evaluate future energy and cost saving opportunities, support the implementation of environmental work programmes, energy management plans and projects and monitor utility use and efficiencies at all Alliance Group plants. This position is offered on a fixed-term contract of 24 months.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will preferably be a recently graduated / completed final year qualification in energy management, industrial and process optimisation, or similar technology-based qualification and will display strong initiative and drive. Your high attention to detail and excellent communication skills combined with theoretical knowledge of the processes/control/operation of energy management will help you succeed in this role. Some experience in an industrial manufacturing environment and in data analysis and compliance reporting will be advantageous but not essential.
