ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Enrolled Nurses are confident leaders that support and mentor the care team to provide outstanding care for our residents. We now have a position available at our Residential care site in Salter Point, this is a fixed term contract until September 2022.

Thursday 1500 - 2215

Friday 1500 - 2215

Saturday 1500 - 2215

Week 2

Tuesday 1500 - 2215

Wednesday 1500 - 2215

Saturday 1500 - 2215

Total hours per fortnight - 41.35

What you'll do;

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of residents through appropriate assessments
• Contribute in the allocation of workload for care staff
• Support residents with care requirements in line with scope of practice
• Monitor and assist in administering medications
• Provide oversight and leadership to care staff
• Supervise and mentor care staff on shifts and provide support
• Complete ACFI documentation, assessments, care plan reviews, evaluations & Riskman reporting

ABOUT YOU

You are passionate about quality of care, ensuring that you collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will contribute to a strong professional team approach through open communication and a positive supportive environment. Ideally we are looking for candidates with 12 months experience in a Hospital or Aged care setting that have had some exposure to working nightshifts.

Essential Criteria

• Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Previous experience in an Aged Care (advantageous)
• Flu vaccination 2021 certificate
• Valid Police Clearance less than 6 months' old or ability to obtain one
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills
