Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network is a state-wide Specialty Health Network delivering health care to adults and young people in contact with the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems across community, inpatient and custodial settings.
What you'll be doing
The Enrolled Nurse (EN) contributes to planning, implementing and assisting in the evaluation of health issues and in the provision of nursing care for patients.
The EN will work within Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (JH&FMHN) and Ministry of Health policies, procedures and guidelines as well as Corrective Services NSW or Juvenile Justice NSW rules and regulations as set out in the relevant legislation.

Additional Allowances apply to this position - $ 3.64 per hour
Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing.

Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse currently registered with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication and computer skills.
Possess a strong interest and ability to empathise with marginalised populations and a capacity to manage and relate to patients in a non-judgemental and compassionate manner.
Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary health care team.
Demonstrates a commitment to self directed learning and development and a knowledge of Practice Development and Quality Improvement principles.

Experience in conducting health assessments.
