About the Role

Glen Innes District Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service environment to maximise the health outcomes for the patient/resident, under the guidance and direction of the Registered Nurse. You will deliver and assist in assessing, planning, organising and evaluating quality nursing care to achieve individual clinical outcomes for each patient/client. You will also deliver nursing services for patients/clients in a planned and systematic way that promotes holistic care focussed on the individual patient/client needs and rights.

About You

You will have the capacity to identify and resolve conflict situations by managing own emotional responses and interacting with others in a personable and professional manner. You will also have the ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to understand their needs, enhance service delivery and act on situations when the norm is to wait for a situation to resolve itself.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.

All NSW Health workers are required to have received two doses or have an approved medical contraindication certificate. You will be required to provide a record of your COVID-19 vaccination status if successful.
