Safety Net supports the recovery of those affected by rape, exploitation, sexual and domestic abuse across north and west Cumbria. We are looking for enthusiastic adult and children and young people's therapists or counsellors with a recognised qualification to at least the equivalent of a postgraduate diploma. Who has or is willing to undertake training on trauma informed practise and understanding the impact of sexual and domestic abuse upon survivors, (12 months post qualification experience is desirable) to join our therapeutic team. You will provide specialist support, counselling and trauma-focused therapy to adults, children and young people. The successful applicant will be responsible for their own case load, work autonomously and pro-actively with clients as well as in an inter-agency context. We are currently working in a hybrid model; the successful candidate will work remotely from home, and travel across Cumbria to provide services. All Therapists are delivering remote and face to face sessions. We provide the following staff wellbeing support, clinical supervision, case management and peer support meetings, all taking place through Microsoft Teams at present. Reporting to : Head of Operations and Head of Clinical Practice. Hours: 35 hours per week. (8 hours a day, 60 mins unpaid breaks, minimum 4 clients a day) Pay: A starting salary of £24,811 - £37,000, dependent on accreditation and experience. Holiday: 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (pro rata), 5 to be taken at Christmas when the office is closed for two weeks. Pension: We offer a 4% employer contribution pension, following successful completion of the probationary period. Base: The role is hybrid working which means the successful candidate will need to be able to travel across Cumbria and work remotely from home, or the office. Our headquarters are based in the Carlisle office, travel to this base will not be included/reimbursed. Induction: There will be a full induction process and training around systems and processes. Training : We are a committed learning and development Charity providing extensive CPD and career progression (internal and external training to include Signs of Safety/Wellbeing, Pre-Trial work, Trauma Informed safety, and stabilisation Closing date: 9am 13th June 2022.
