We are looking for an Electrician/Electrical Engineer who has had experience with generators (and preferably generator installs in buildings). Initially working largely on your own to help grow the businesses market share.
Along with Generators the business also hires fan heaters, submersible water pumps, lighting and light towers, extension leads, plus other equipment that blends with generator hires etc. So some work in the field fixing customer generators and all building electrical repairs etc,
You need to have a current New Zealand Electrical License, however if the successful applicant is from overseas we will help obtaining the NZ license.
Required attributes:

• Be a great communicator as customer relationships is a big part of the job.
• Be organized and capable of handling the required paperwork/invoicing etc.
• Have some sales skills as building the business is an important part of the position.
• Will need a current NZ Driver’s License (being a gun at reversing trailers a major bonus) A company vehicle will be provided with the position.
• Be flexible with working hours as some weekend work may be required
