WDHB is seeking applications from a suitability qualified educator who is passionate about patient and staff wellbeing. This role has a core focus on providing education, leadership and support for manual handling, bariatric care and care sensitive indicators. This role will also continue to implement the get up get dressed get moving project.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to how care is provided within our DHB. You will be supported by the education team, but also by the clinical teams. This role has the flexibility to try new and innovative ways of improving the wellbeing of patients while they are in hospital.
You must be able to demonstrate that you are registered with a New Zealand Health Authority in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Nursing and that your scope of practice enables you to undertake the duties of this position.
