Location: Wellington Regional Hospital

Service:  Patient Administration Services

Contract:  Part time, fixed Term until July 2022

Hours: Thursday 5:30 pm – 10.00pm (possibility for Tuesday and Friday as required up to 40 hours)

Salary:  $49,961.00 pro-rated

Kōrero mō te tūranga – About the role

You’ll play a pivotal role within our workforce, pre-screening all visitors who come through our main entrances, keeping our patients safe and helping maintain a record of who is entering the hospital. We require a fixed-term staff in a variety of shifts for a 24/7 period. These shifts comprise of days, evenings and late nights.

Join our friendly and supportive Emergency Department team and be a part of our Patient Administration Services which supports a patient’s journey from referral, to a CCDHB treatment provider, right through to discharge. 

Moū – About you

This is a front line role dealing with patients and their families where customer-focused skills are important. Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have great customer service, the ability to work under pressure and be able to de-escalate stressful situations. If you have experience in front of house jobs such as receptionist/administrator or in person customer service roles - we want to hear from you.
