Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Driver Trainer to join our function based in Karawatha.

The role is responsible for ensuring co-ordination of all infield compliance activities including Chain of Responsibility, Verification of Competency of equipment, and ongoing load restraint verification.

The role seeks to develop, implement, and improve measurable best practice policy and procedure to effectively increase our overall level of compliance. Toll Minerals, Oil&Gas overall aim is to have safe and incident free operations.

This role will be responsible for:

• Manage and maintain Verification of compentency of all operators
• Provide training and constant review of Chain of Responsibility compliance
• Provide Training and competency review of all load restraint activities
• Provide systems, processes and support to line management to achieve the goal of a safe and incident free workplace
• Assist with the implementation of safe working practices and procedures and ensure consistent application across all operations
• Liaise with the location Supervisors to monitor and close gaps in training and compliance

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Relevant experience in similar position, with exposure to health, safety and environmental programs
• Experience in driving MC class vehicles in remote locations
• Experience in the coordination/delivery of training and in achieving cultural change
• Strong understanding of transport operations including dangerous goods, 
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
