Urban Walkies is a premium pet service provider servicing Auckland's inner-city suburbs.  Our premium services include dog walking, group dog walks, pet sitting (overnight & extended stays) dog washing and quick stop in visits.

THE ROLE

Urban Walkies are currently looking for part time dog walkers to join our pawesome team. We have two positions available, one on the North Shore and one in South/West Auckland (New Lynn etc) We want walkers who are self-motivated, reliable and who will go above and beyond when it comes to their clients – the 2 legged and four legged! You must be available for shifts Monday-Friday and be able to complete a minimum of 30+ hours per week (with the opportunity to extend those hours). We seek people wanting more permanent hours to join our team, and not looking for someone who is only wanting short term work. 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Hold a full driver's license and clean driving record

- Must be able to complete and pass a police check

- Be fit and healthy 

- Have fantastic customer service skills and a positive, can-do attitude

- A love for animals, have experience with walking and caring for dogs and cats (your own pets or other peoples)

- Experience training dogs is preferred, but not essential

- Able to handle dogs of all shapes and sizes

- Self-motivated, well presented and professional

- Trustworthy, reliable and a strong ability to manage time efficiently

- Have a smart mobile phone which you can access emails from

- Live in the Auckland area 

- Are an NZ citizen, have residency or valid NZ work visa
