• We are looking for a happy dog loving superstar !

• 40 hours per week – rostered over 5 days, Monday to Friday between 6.30am and 6.30pm
• We are located in Glenfield, North Shore, Auckland
• Canine care for a variety of dogs plus opportunity to be a grooming assistant

• About the role:
• Maintaining the health and wellbeing of the dogs in our care by keeping play areas clean and sanitised.
• Meet and greeting pets and their owners at check-in and pick-up
• Bookings and diary management as well as other admin such as receipting payments and entering paperwork for our day-care clients.
• Working inside and outside play and interaction with the dogs
• General cleaning of the dog bay area

About You:
You must be a true dog lover and be passionate about taking care of our customers precious pets.  You should be physically fit and able to walk and stand on your feet for long periods of time (although we do have couches for doggy cuddles) and comfortable managing large and high energy dogs.  Ideally you will have some experience with dogs and their behaviour/management/training and most importantly be a team player as you are sharing the workload with a small dedicated team.  Some administration and computer skills are required and you will need to be organised and good at self management and have confidence in dealing with dogs and also their human owners.  Previous experience in a similar role or an animal care qualification preferred but full training provided.

Applicants for this position should be fluent in English and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Starting rate will reflect accordingly to experience.
