Job Description

• Consistently answering the phone and dealing with driver requirements - hook up information, departure times, delay information, and other concerns as required.
• Bill shipments in the system as well as know when to manifest them or strip them from a trailers manifest in the TMW.
• Work with multiple shared spreadsheets in and keep all data current.
• Track shipments for customers
• Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities and weekly transportation targets.

• Ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures
• Communicate with brokers, carriers, and the customers to resolve any discrepancies
• Verify and troubleshoot any issues in shipping or customs documentation including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL, ACE, ACI, PARS, and PAPS, and carrier confirmation.
• Proactively communicate service risks to customers to provide proper resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management and/or Business is required
• Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize multiple tasks at any given time
• Able to work under pressure and spend a majority of your shift on the phone dealing with drivers, Terminal personnel, as well as internal and external customers.
• Some understanding of the Dangerous Goods laws, as well as the hours of service legislation, would be an asset.
• 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain/Transportation industry is required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with the aptitude to learn new software quickly
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to work in a team environment
