The Division
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The opportunity
Based in anywhere in NSW and working on the disaster recovery program this role coordinates the region’s response to various communication requests and information requirements. These include customer and stakeholder correspondence, briefs to the Minister and CEO, subpoenas and GIPAA requests
Working with a wide range of stakeholders you will also:
• Identify customer needs and values to inform decision making and guide customer responses.
• Support continuous customer improvement across the region
• Undertake research, fact-checking and drafting Ministerial correspondence, briefing notes and reports for the region
• Work with internal subject matter experts to provide technical content for local political, ministerial and Regional Director correspondence
• Utilize the region’s systems to track and monitor actions and tasks, as well as commitments made to clients through prior communication
• Ensure that incoming and outgoing correspondence is consistently stored and accessible in the corporate systems and that the regions recordkeeping meets the requirements of the State Records Act
• Facilitate responses to subpoenas and GIPAA requests, managing strict timeframe constraints
About you
We are ideally looking for someone with tertiary qualifications, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, and a passion for customer service. This is a fast-paced role so the ability to plan and prioritise will be crucial as will the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholder.
