Reporting to the Institute Director, Professor Ian Henderson, IMB is seeking to appoint an outstanding Director (Research) to support the development in the shape and scope of the Institute's research program and its delivery. As a key member of the IMB Executive, the Director (Research) provides advice to the Institute Director on the strategic direction of the Institute with a particular emphasis on research priorities. In addition, you will be an active research Group Leader who will facilitate and promote research excellence and collaboration while developing strategies to enhance and diversify IMB's research funding base.

Your ability to think and act strategically should be coupled with your highly developed interpersonal skills and a proven track record of leading and implementing change while inspiring and motivating others.
