About the team
The Infrastructure and Place (I&P) division is in the process of delivering a once-in-a generation multi-billion program of public infrastructure works which will ease congestion, improve safety, create new places and connect communities for generations to come. We are dedicated and passionate team that is proud of the work we do and the supportive and flexible team culture we have built.
The role sits within the Analytics & Applications sub-branch of I&P’s Commercial, Performance & Strategy Branch, that is responsible for establishing a high-quality single source of truth for data and analytics in I&P. The sub-branch enables better customer outcomes before, during, and after project delivery and will deliver a suite of dashboards, reporting to enable data driven decisions throughout the infrastructure project lifecycle underpinned by actionable insights.
The opportunity
We are seeking a Director Project Analytics to join our Analytics and Data Science Centre of Excellence. Closely working with the Director Analytics & Applications, this is a significant role providing the opportunity to capitalise on your business acumen to translate complex techniques into language and concepts that can be understood and applied to show commercial value of analytical solutions.
You will be required to manage and balance community, client and government needs and expectations regarding the availability of project metrics and appropriate and useful applications of information. As such, you will build and maintain partnerships with projects to understand the past, present and future factors influencing project development and delivery. As an expert in the field of Analytics, you will will be instrumental in developing the skills and capability for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics, and Data Analysis to deliver insights to improve infrastructure project outcomes
