The Opportunity

In this role, you'll be responsible for the performance of a digital journey or product.
You'll operate at squad level, leading a cross functional team of colleagues driving our ambition of delivering world class products. You'll influence the experience of millions of customers.
The exact digital product or journey in scope of any of our roles will evolve over time. We will assign you to a squad based upon a combination of your background, your development needs and interest and the business need. Example squads we operate today support journeys such as joining BT and EE, using our products and conversational commerce.
The assignment requires deep knowledge of Conversational AI. The successful candidate will lead our Conversational Experience squad. The team are focussed on building a world-class digital assistant which helps millions of customers.#JoinDigital
What you'll be doing
You'll inspire, coach and guide a squad to ensure the delivery of outcomes to support the customer and business.
You'll be ruthlessly customer focussed by interrogating customer insight and data to identify key customer needs whilst supporting business priorities.
You’ll use the product vision and strategy to define and evolve objectives and key results for your squad.
You'll input into your squad strategy and prioritise a backlog to support this with a positive value to effort ratio.
You'll leverage the squad's skills to collaboratively discover and iterate solutions that are valuable, usable, feasible and viable.
You'll measure and clearly communicate your product’s performance and demonstrate how this contributes to the digital and business objectives.
You'll nurture partnerships with stakeholders and collaborate with them to achieve the product vision.
Who you are
You’ll have been the PO for a successful product squad delivering conversational experiences within a scaled enterprise.
You’ll have a solid understanding of Conversational AI best practice in relation to NLP, NLU, Conversational Design and Conversational Analytics.
Coach – Coach, mentor and provide feedback where appropriate.
Creative – To think big and beyond the day to day.
Feedback focused - Understands and applies lean principles of rapid build / measure / learn cycles.
Collaborator – Works with peers, scrum teams and business stakeholders to maximise value created by squad.
Customer obsessed – relentlessly campaigns to enhance customers’ lives.
Commercial – sound understanding of what creates value and what does not.
Technically Knowledgeable – Has a thirst to understand and learn their product’s features and technical composition. Is aware of new technologies and the potential they provide.
Driven – Does everything within their tribe’s control to deliver what was promised and ensures operational vigilance. But understands when to push back.
Analyst – data driven, consuming data and insight, utilising this to drive great customer experiences.
