Events South Australia (ESA), through the South Australian Tourism Commission, owns and manages four events including: Santos Tour Down Under, Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Events South Australia, the Digital Producer is responsible for managing the digital platforms of Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel and Bridgestone World Solar Challenge including websites, databases and owned-social platforms. The role will also be responsible for the planning, production and implementation of organic content strategies across platforms to positively position our events, increase visitor numbers and expenditure, ticket sales and attendance.
Events South Australia is responsible for the creation, development, and procurement of nationally and internationally recognised events to promote South Australia as a tourism destination. The role will also work the Marketing Manager and Acquisition and Development unit, and across SATC, to provide digital platform and content support and advice for the State’s Events Industry as well as sponsored event programs.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Working with the Marketing Manager, develop project plans, timelines and budgets for Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and Events South Australia as well as sponsored and regional events as required, aligned with overarching marketing and publicity plans.
Develop plans in consultation with ESA Event Management, Commercial, and Acquisition and Development units as well as SATC digital teams
Working with the Marketing Manager, contribute to the development of the organic content strategy that encompasses all digital platforms for Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and Events South Australia as well as sponsored and regional events as required (including website, eDM and social) to grow communities, build reach and engagement.
Develop, produce, curate and implement content, including written, visual and video, across all digital platforms based on agreed strategy and plans for Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and Events South Australia as well as sponsored and regional events as required.
Day to day management and implementation of digital plans across website, eDM and social platforms for Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel, Bridgestone World Solar Challenge and Events South Australia as well as sponsored and regional events as required.
The role will be offered as a three (3) year contract and subject to six (6) months’ probation and participation in regular performance reviews.
