Job Description
Reporting to Lorna Bladen, who is head of marketing, key responsibilities include:
- Track and analyse website traffic insights and provide regular internal reports
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, implement and optimise social media advertising campaigns, and input into the organic strategy to grow brand following
- Evaluate web performance and user journeys, platform engagement and conversion to membership and partner programmes
- Optimise content to improve user experience and the search results on the platform
- Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time and improving conversion of key landing pages
- Oversee email campaigns: build creative, messaging and content – plus, provide recommendations for new and existing campaigns including triggers and automation
- Developing email segmentation and personalisation strategies based on member profiling
- Create, monitor and analyse email marketing lists for the marketing department and other areas of the business
- Identify and test other digital marketing initiatives to increase traffic to the site and convert visitors to members
- Work hand-in-hand with our product and tech team to implement new landing pages and platform improvements.
Background and skills:
- A relevant qualification in marketing and previous experience in a similar digital marketing role
- Hands-on experience of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager and other suites
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
- Experience across SEO, PPC, email marketing, and social media
- Data-driven thinking to analyse data through A/B testing and email optimisation
- A collaborator with strong communication skills and the ability to work alongside peers to deliver joint objectives
- An eye for UX, UI and design. Design software skills are advantageous.
- Highly numerate, and good Excel / analytical skills
- Creative thinking and skills in content writing
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
