7 minutes ago Our client a leading NSW Government Department are looking for a Digital Instructional Designer to join their team on a 6 month contract with potential for extension. The team will work closely with the Communications and Engagement Team within the Office of the CIO which is responsible for the development and deployment of the organisations communications, and communications that support projects that have organisation-wide impacts.

Role is located between Macquarie Park and Sydney CBD (options for flexibility)

Primary purpose of the role

Work within the Organisational Change Management Team to develop digital learning content

Develop and deliver Training Needs Analyses (TNAs) to outline the learning requirements aligned to the supported initiative or project

Apply the existing Learning Journey pattern and eLearning and classroom learning templates to develop content to support initiatives and projects

Development and implementation of learning content to support User Acceptance Testing and Pre-Go Live just-in-time training

Delivery of classroom/virtual training when required

Essential requirements

Minimum two years of experience in online content development and digital learning

Understanding of User Experience (UX) concepts and the ability to communicate wireframes, user flows and conceptual designs

Deliver virtual and in-classroom training

High level of understanding of the Office 365 ecosystem

Demonstrated instructional design skills including audience analysis, needs analysis, development of scope, design specifications, performance-based objectives, assessments, and curriculum development

An understanding of change management methodology

Excellent facilitation and communications skills

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task.

Preferred requirements

High level of proficiency in digital learning design software, such as Camtasia, Articulate Storyline and Vyond

High level of proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
