As owner of the Events activation across (Food) Digital you will work with stakeholders in Customer Marketing and Food Commercial to deliver an exceptional customer experience, enabling Sainsbury’s to exceed its sales and profit budgets.
What you need to do
- Work with the Digital Customer & Event Planning Leads and relevant Food Digital functions to maintain our high traffic plan, collaborating with all the relevant stakeholders across eCommerce and Marketing.
- Using data and insight, proactively identify and implement opportunities in-flight to ensure our high traffic areas of site are continually optimised.
- Support the Digital Customer & Event Planning Leads in the planning, briefing, implementing and reviewing of campaigns/events across our Food Digital Channels.
- Work collaboratively with our Digital Operations Centre and Food Digital colleagues to ensure key milestones are being met and alignment across stakeholders.
- Highlight any risks to the Customer and Event Planning Leads whilst proactively seeking solutions where possible.
- Confidently feed in ideas to improve ways of working and new opportunities to drive performance.
- Be the Digital expert on competitor execution, bringing to life the different approaches and supporting learnings across key teams.
- Work collaboratively across the Sainsbury’s brands including Tu, Argos, Habitat and Bank to identify cross group shopping opportunities for our customers.
- Own and deliver ecommerce specific customer projects as required.
What you need to know and show
- You are passionate about Digital and eCommerce, and ready to learn how to ensure a Digital-first mindset is adopted in events planning.
- You will be detail oriented and keen to learn new systems and tools; with a focus on website & market analytics tools like Google Analytics, Content Square and Similar Web.
- Passionate about our customers and focussed on driving the best customer experience at every point of their customer journey.
- Good communication skills, and comfortable with interpreting and presenting data
- Strong time management skills and comfortable operating at pace.
- Have a good holistic understanding of the Digital landscape and wider retail environment in which we operate and utilise this to drive performance.
- You have a proactive and can-do attitude that embraces change in a fast-moving environment.
- You are not afraid to make changes and have courage to try out new things
