We are the BT Consumer retailer business. Working at BT Shop is unique within BT. You’ll be part of an end to end team that supports the broader Consumer business helping to maximise the experience customers get from Broadband, Mobile, TV, Sport and fixed line services, with the latest technology from the biggest brands.

We need an analytical mind! Are you someone who can take information from a range of sources, analyse it and deliver insight to make decisions, backed by data, at pace? If so, this role is an exciting opportunity to harness the power of rich digital data within a fast moving environment - to help us sell a richer range of the latest technology products to BT and non-BT consumers.
You'll have the following responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for data collection, building and management reporting suites for internal and external stakeholders
You’ll be supporting the team with daily, weekly, monthly reporting requirements
Building out a suite of KPI management to help us stay on track
Driving improved Gross Margin by supporting our commercial team on pricing
Reviewing Digital performance – helping us understand customer behaviour – and react to it
Get under the skin of what is working online, what’s happening in the market and building proposals for us to target
Understanding our customer base – help us make the best CRM decisions to deliver better customer retention as well as getting the best from acquired customers
Working closely with marketing, commercial – and at times the customer service & logistics teams – to understand their challenges and research what options we have for continual improvements.
Compliance reporting
Stock, financial reporting and SOA management
Work with Head of eComm to drive more engagement across Consumer channels to harness the power of data across group.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Skills & Experience:
Strong team player
Commercial focused delivery
Strong analytical skills and an understanding of marketing ROI (across SEO/PPC/Affiliate/Social)
Ability to interpret data and present it in a way that promotes thinking and key actions from across the team
Support financial management and analysis
Understand external partner management, affiliate programmes to help us drive down CoS/ROAS
Ability to use insight to support system and process change
Influencing and relationship skills
Experience in digital, online capabilities and technology
Creative and innovative thinker – challenge the norm
Previous experience in a fast paced environment
IT literate
Excellent spelling, grammar and presentation skills
It would also be desirable, but not essential to have the following skills or capability, or at least the appetite to learn;
Knowledge of technology or retail
A data, insight or analytical qualification is highly desirable
Good working knowledge of a range of data tools & packages such as (but not limited to) Google Analytics, User Replay, NewRelic, GfK (consumer insights), CRM, Pricing tools, Google Data Studio
Experience of PowerBI
