Job Description
- Working with GWS counterparts and key suppliers to deliver complex construction projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and meeting or exceeding client expectations
- Oversees the team's deployment of large-scale, campus and/or regionally based delivery solutions while also socializing with regional leaders. Working with our construction services partners, oversee the development of complex program plans, schedules, and budgets for all assigned projects
- Tactical areas of focus: resource management; master planning; land development; contracting strategies; infrastructure design/development; code/use compliance; shell & core delivery; change management. Bring construction management leadership to all related engagements
- Setting clear project goals to all delivery partners with measurable key performance indicators
- Developing strong client relationships with Business Group stakeholders. Become familiar with the client’s vision, business strategy and understand their rhythm of the business, and the organization
- Balance autonomy with risk, by clearly understanding compliance requirements and project expectations
- Demonstrate customer obsession by focusing on Client Relationship Management to ensure full openness of scope / schedule / budget
- Bring focus and expertise to critical financial processes, including key approval processes and milestones. This includes partnering with internal Procurement stakeholders to ensure procurement compliance as well as securing the right partners with the right budgets
- Support land and building selection process to ensure future state needs are represented through the decision process.

In addition to these broad program management skills this position requires a deep knowledge of subject matter including:
- Deep knowledge and passion for architecture and construction
- Experience with a variety of project types ranging from small tenant improvements to full new construction
- Knowledge of building systems and processes
- Ability to understand the development and interpretation of architectural designs and drawings
- Scope, schedule, and budget control techniques
- Knowledge of industry standard construction procurement and contracting methodologies, with the ability to drive contracting process
- Experience and ability to engage and manage local jurisdictions and public agencies as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, Landscape Architecture, or Urban and Regional Planning is preferred.
- Demonstrable experience with land/site development projects
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
