About the Team
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The Opportunity
Right now we are seeking a Developer Works Support Officer to join the Developer Works Unit, in a busy role
responsible for coordinating and preparing Transport for NSW (TfNSW) responses to planning authorities and private developers for land use planning and development proposals, in accordance with relevant legislation, statutory timeframes, policy and guidelines.
Some key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Use a variety of internal system to create and maintain data relating to the projects
Request Invoices to be generated and ensure they are paid
Draft and disseminate letters to Developers
Monitoring of the team and personal inboxes – responding to dozens of daily emails requesting information/ WBS numbers, status of Work Authorisation Deeds (WADs), emails from Developers and Project Managers etc
Once WAD’s are signed and returned by developer, arrange the signing and witnessing of all WADs by Manager Developer Works
Scanning and good record keeping of all correspondence and Executed WAD
Identify and implement process improvements
Any other duties as requested by all members of the Developer Works Team across NSW (these can be IT Requests, Purchase Requisitions, on boarding of new staff/PSC or skill hire etc)
Work collaboratively across the branch regions to build a consistent approach to land use planning, assessment and precinct and place-based management within the Community and Place Branch.
The location for this role is Wollongong.
This is a Temporary Fixed Term role until March 2024.
About you
The role would suit someone from a project support or similar background with demonstrated financial governance and systems experience. You will be joining a collaborative and busy team, supporting a high number of staff, and need to be an organised and customer focused person who can demonstrate excellent time management and prioritisation skills. You thrive on building relationships and interacting with a wide range of people both internal and external to the organisation and enjoy delivering exceptional customer experiences in a constantly changing environment.
You will have effective communication skills and are able to maintain simple, consistent and transparent information on a large number of projects to enable effective delivery, encourage efficient input and governance.
Ideally you are an incredibly proactive individual, eager to make a difference with extensive experience using various software packages to maintain project information and also in in preparing correspondence and reports.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is Transport Service Grade 5 – ($85,103 to $93,616) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
