In our Health Services Strategy our health provider relationships are critical to us at ACC. Our Health Agile Release Train is where we are working closely with the health sector to improve client health outcomes.
About the role
We've got a great opportunity for a Design Lead who will be responsible for undertaking design activities whilst developing and managing whole of system design initiatives, enabling the successful delivery and implementation of ACC's Health Services Strategy, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for MÄori.
Working closely with the Design team, your initial role is to jump in and lead with customer centred design of new and updated services with our partners in our Agile Release Train. Alongside this hands-on role, you will also develop, document and implement a design approach which will continue to support the design needs of our Health Agile Release Train, enabling the initiatives under the ACC Health Services Strategy.
Your knowledge of mÄtauranga, te ao MÄori measurement, conceptual and outcomes frameworks to plan, develop, and/or continuously improve whÄnau centred programmes and approaches will be critical to the success of designing improved MÄori Health Services.
Through a te ao MÄori lens you will bring to life services designed to address the MÄori health challenges, utilising your analysis and stakeholder skills.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
Ensure alignment of design across ACC to the ACC Health Services Strategy
You will come from a health service design/service integration background however we welcome applicants from other disciplines and industries who have relevant design experience. To be successful in this role you will have experience of whÄnau-centred approaches, programmes and delivery, knowledge of Te Ao MÄori measurement, conceptual and outcome frameworks underpinned hapÅ«, iwi and MÄori entity interests and aspirations is desirable. Having the ability to interact and influence diverse stakeholders will be second nature from time spent working within the health sector or relevant industry.
An attractive salary from $111k to $131k depending on experience, plus 9% super is on offer, along with an opportunity to grow and develop your career in one of New Zealand's leading government agencies.
