We are setting up a new community mental health service in Wellington to help people with moderate to severe depression/anxiety. We are called The Wellington Depression Recovery Centre, and we are a charitable organisation.
We are considering a large cathedral ceiling warehouse space (1,400m2) in central Wellington and we would like to plan to see how well it could accommodate our holistic services. An established architect company is likely to being doing the interior design pro-bono and we would like a senior student or a small group of students to do the preparatory work for them, and work along side them if interested, and potentially help us implement the design. The initial task is to work with the director to ascertain the needs of our future participants and their requirements and then design a floor plan with internal spaces and rooms as necessary.
We would pay your costs and a reasonable koha for your time. Please note I have put down the min wage x 15 hours but it could take more time depending on the level of involvement. And if the job is done by a small group of students, which would be ideal to get some collective thinking, then the pot could be increased a little but not to pay everyone this rate.
