The role won’t be your typical communications one and as a result we aren’t looking for someone with ten years experience. We want a new or recent grad who hasn’t forgotten what it is like to be a struggling comms major. This will be trial by doing and assisted failure that will give you great stories to tell when you inevitably move on in two or three years time.
We are looking for the risk taker who knows that we value a communications report on progress less than we do someone standing behind a BBQ talking to students.
That said, the role is a full time 40 hour per week job and will sometimes require professional clothes and client management skills. We are a not for profit organisation but we work with sponsors who enhance the value proposition for our tauira.
