This is one of four new executive leadership roles that have been created to see ACC continue to improve lives for New Zealanders every day. As part of a cohesive executive team, all Deputy Chief Executives will have a clear cross-enterprise focus as we integrate strategy, planning, delivery across ACC.
The Deputy Chief Executive - Corporate & Finance will provide integrated enterprise expertise in the delivery of strategic and operational advice and support across ACC and external stakeholders. This role has strategic oversight of our technical corporate functions and expertise including Finance, Privacy, Procurement & Properties, and Governance functions and is accountable for providing strategic advice, operational support, and advocacy for the Legal, Actuarial, Internal Audit and Risk functions. You will also have responsibility for oversight and coordination of ACC's Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance with a focus on sustainability. This DCE role is also the Chief Financial Officer, and the single point of contact and authority on finance related matters.

Ko wai koe | About you
You will be a qualified CA or finance professional, with a depth of experience in senior executive roles where you have been a strategic leader across the organisation. An understanding of public sector accounting practice including Treasury processes would be an advantage, as would experience in the insurance industry. In addition to your finance experience, you will have led broad corporate services functions and understand their critical role in business enablement.
You will have a track record of innovation, influence, and customer focus, and have the experience to support the CE and Board in the review and implementation of our strategic plan. Exceptional people leadership skills will see you create an engaged high-performance culture. You can demonstrate your leadership in applying Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and a commitment to working in partnership with Iwi /MÄori
