Primark Bexleyheath is recruiting for a Department Manager.

As a Department Manager you will oversee the full day to day running of at least one department. You will have full commercial control of the department(s), including stock ordering and merchandising and, using available data provided to you, will lead a team to maximise sales and provide a superior level of customer service.

A retail fashion background is not essential for this role but having strong leadership and coaching skills, a commercial mind set and exposure to a fast paced environment is. Many Department Managers join us from positions such as Sales, Floor or Department Manager of a similar size store or Assistant or Store Manager of a smaller size store to ours. The role will not be without challenge but you will have the freedom, the autonomy and the support to really make this role your own.
