We are currently looking for a leader to join our team as a Cleaning Department Foreperson.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the Cleaning Department operates effectively. You will ensure the plant is cleaned thoroughly to meet the food and hygiene requirements of an export meat processing plant. Experience in commercial cleaning is essential.
You will be responsible for managing staff, allocating workloads, coordinating and facilitating training across staff, health and safety, compliance, risk management plans and much more. You will be managing a team of up to thirty staff and are an integral part of the operational leadership team.
Your proven experience in managing people will be critical to your success in this role. In addition, your strong awareness and passion for continuous improvement and safe work practices are vital. You will also have good computing skills.
