We are currently looking to recruit a Delivery Integration (DI) Equipment Lead who will report to the DI Constructability Manager.
If successful you will facilitate interfaces between the DI team and the Equipment Programme, as well as the Equipment Programme’s interfaces with other HPC Project Teams, such as MEH, Site Construction and the Area Multi-Discipline teams.
You will also support the Delivery Integration processes (such as Delivery Work Packs, Hotspots and Constructability Reviews) with the Equipment Programme and work towards the delivery of a viable, integrated construction schedule for the HPC project.
To be successful in this role you will have experience in the engineering, planning and construction phases of complex construction projects. You will have the ability to identify and resolve complex interfaces in line with the required schedule,work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and foster a culture of collaboration.

What you’ll be doing…
• Apply the HPC Constructability and Layout Review process to their respective scope. Supporting constructability reviews for Turnkey (DMIC) Equipment Contractors and disseminating relevant information to DI Building Leads and Turnkey Equipment PMs.
• Identify transverse constructability issues and support their resolution where relevant to support delivery by the Equipment Programme.
• Support the transfer of information to aid the installation of free issue equipment by the MEH Programme teams.
• Support Turnkey Equipment Contractors to ensure that constructability issues have been adequately considered, addressed and resolved through the design or sequencing of installation works.
• The DI Equipment Lead shall encourage and facilitate knowledge sharing across the HPC Project and foster a collaborative approach to issue resolution.
Who you are…
You will have specific knowledge, skills, qualification, and experience including:
• A degree in Engineering or equivalent in Construction Management or related subject or a demonstrable level of experience based on years of experience and project assignments.
• Experience and understanding of working in a Safety Quality Culture.
• Understanding and awareness of working in a highly regulated and secure environment.
• Experience in interfaces between Engineering and Construction groups.
• Ability to work collaboratively and in an integrated team environment.
• Ability to influence others.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Management of strategic planning and identifying recovery plans.
• Good working knowledge of commercial principles affecting procurement, manufacturing and construction matters.
• Ability to produce informative and concise reports.

• Awareness of project change control and risk management processes.
• Extensive working knowledge in the delivery of large complex construction projects.
• Skills/proficiency in Microsoft Tools, shall be able to develop tables, graphs, presentations, reports and dashboards
• Experience in delivering highly complex projects.
Desirable
• Management of strategic planning, developing construction sequencing and recovery plans.
• Skills/proficiency in use of the COMET database and SWITCH (Work Packages).
• Nuclear construction background.
• Experience operating in a high security environment.
• Working knowledge in the delivery of large complex construction projects.
• Experience in Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC erection
