We are currently looking for a Delivery Driver - Class 2 to join our branch based at Awapuni, Gisborne.

This is a full-time permanent position. Days and Hours of the work are Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm (approx.) and 7am to 12pm on occasional Saturdays.

THE JOB:

-Deliver goods to assigned locations and/or individuals.

-Transporting orders and materials to designated sites, involves driving company vehicles (vans, trucks, etc.).

-Loading/unloading delivery trucks; receiving stock and/or filling orders for transport.

-Maintain delivery vehicles (e.g. checking fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, etc.); ensure safe operation of vehicle.

-Maintain records (e.g. delivery log, etc.).

-Participate in physical inventories/stock take.

THE PERSON:

-Will have Class 2 and above License and relevant driving experience

-Will be holding clean driving and criminal records

-Will be reliable & flexible

-will have excellent reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

-will be confident and friendly phone manner.

-will have basic Time management skills

-will have strong attention to detail

-will be physically strong and fit, with the ability to lift up to 25 kg
